Buckley boys are artists. They study studio art, crafts (or woodworking), and music as part of the curriculum, and they perform on stage every year. Their accomplishments are celebrated during our annual spring exhibition and through different choral concerts throughout the year. The boys paint still lifes while sitting on our sunny art terrace, they sing solos in our operettas while their classmates run the light board, and as graduation approaches, they each carve their own wooden plaque—a plaque that will be permanently mounted on the wall as a reminder that, like the three thousand graduates who came before them, they, too, are Buckley boys.
