Financial Assistance

We believe that a Buckley education should be accessible. The Buckley School provides financial assistance for accepted students whose parents demonstrate need. The Buckley School uses Clarity to process financial assistance applications. Based on the financial information you provide, the reports we receive give us an estimated amount that your family can contribute to educational expenses. This estimate is a starting point to help us make fair and objective financial assistance decisions. Fees for our after-school program vary and families receiving financial assistance will pay a reduced rate based on need.

Application Process & Deadlines

The Buckley School uses Clarity to help determine a family’s level of financial need through a comprehensive review of assets, income, expenses, and debts.
  • To get started, submit a Clarity application online. You must authorize Clarity to access your 2023 Federal tax filings and related schedules. In addition, you will be required to submit the following documents: most recent pay stub, tuition statement at other tuition-charging schools (if applicable), business tax documents (if applicable). Additional documentation may be requested as well.
  • Divorced, separated or never-married parents are expected to submit individual financial assistance applications through Clarity.
  • Because financial circumstances change, parents must reapply for financial assistance each year.
  • All financial assistance applications and grant awards are completely confidential.
  • The Financial Assistance Committee makes all assistance decisions independently of admissions decisions.
  • The deadline for completing the financial assistance application including relevant supplemental documents is January 8, 2025.
If you have any questions at all about tuition and financial assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the Buckley Admissions Office.
